メキシコシティ中心部のソカロ広場で行ったパフォーマンス

メキシコシティー、ソカロ広場で行ったパフォーマンス。
国ごとに色分けされた世界地図の上に、各国の色に合わせて同じ色のろうそくを1本ずつ置いていく。その後火をつけると、ろうそくは溶けだし、それぞれの色が混ざり合い、「黒」あるいは「闇」が流れる。

The performance that I’ve done in the Zocalo in Mexico City.
 

This is what I performed in Zocalo Mexico City. On the map, each country is identified by color. I placed and lit colored candles on the map. The color of the candle is the same with the color of the country based on the map.Then, the candles melted and the colors mixed. The combined colors of the candles became color black or the so called darkness.
